On March 20, 2026, the Trade Remedies Authority of Vietnam organized a public consultation session within the framework of the anti-dumping investigation concerning clear float glass products originating from Indonesia and Malaysia.
The consultation session was conducted in accordance with Article 70 of the Law on Foreign Trade Management 2017 and Article 14 of Decree No. 86/2025/ND-CP detailing several provisions of the Law on Foreign Trade Management regarding trade remedy measures, with the aim of providing interested parties the opportunity to present their opinions, viewpoints, and relevant information related to the investigation.
The consultation session was attended by 28 delegates representing interested parties, including the investigating authority, representatives of Indonesia’s trade and foreign trade authorities, domestic producers, foreign producers and exporters, importers, and authorized representatives of interested parties involved in case AD22.
During the consultation, the investigating authority fully recorded the opinions, viewpoints, and information provided by interested parties. These inputs will be compiled, reviewed, and evaluated during the preparation of the final investigation conclusion to ensure that the investigation is conducted in an objective and transparent manner and in compliance with Vietnamese law as well as WTO commitments.
Following the consultation session, the minutes of the public consultation were finalized and sent to the interested parties in the case for monitoring and implementation of the next procedural steps in accordance with regulations.
Case summary
On July 18, 2025, the Minister of Industry and Trade issued Decision No. 2093/QD-BCT on the initiation of an anti-dumping investigation into certain clear float glass products originating from Indonesia and Malaysia (case code AD22).
On January 30, 2026, the Minister of Industry and Trade issued Decision No. 228/QD-BCT on the application of provisional anti-dumping measures on certain clear float glass products originating from Indonesia and Malaysia.
On March 20, 2026, the investigating authority organized a public consultation session with interested parties in both in-person and online formats to facilitate the presentation of opinions and submission of information to support the investigation process.
In the coming period, the investigating authority will continue to finalize the final investigation conclusion of case AD22. Based on the final investigation conclusion, the Ministry of Industry and Trade will review and issue the official decision on the case in accordance with applicable laws.
