The Trade Remedies Authority of Vietnam (the Investigating Authority) under the Ministry of Industry and Trade has announced the organization of a public consultation in the investigation concerning the application of anti-circumvention measures relating to trade remedy measures imposed on certain hot-rolled steel products originating from China (Case No. AC03.AD20).
The consultation is being conducted in accordance with Article 70 of the Law on Foreign Trade Management 2017 and Article 14 of Decree No. 86/2025/ND-CP detailing several provisions of the Law on Foreign Trade Management regarding trade remedy measures.
Time, Venue, and Format of the Consultation
The public consultation is scheduled to take place from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. on July 3, 2026 (Friday, Hanoi time).
The meeting is expected to be held in Room 412, Building A, Ministry of Industry and Trade Headquarters, 54 Hai Ba Trung Street, Cua Nam Ward, Hanoi. The Investigating Authority will provide further notice regarding the specific meeting room.
Interested parties may participate either in person or online.
Language Requirements
Vietnamese will be the official language used during the consultation.
Interested parties may use other languages; however, they must arrange for their own interpretation into Vietnamese. In addition, all documents and information submitted in foreign languages must be accompanied by Vietnamese translations. Interested parties are responsible for ensuring the accuracy and completeness of the translations and shall bear legal responsibility for the translated content.
Registration Deadline
The Investigating Authority requires interested parties to submit their registration for participation no later than June 26, 2026 (Hanoi time).
If an interested party intends to present specific issues during the consultation, such materials must also be submitted to the Investigating Authority by the same deadline.
The registration form and any consultation materials (if applicable) must be submitted through the TRAV Online Trade Remedy Case Management System at https://online.trav.gov.vn.
The Investigating Authority will only consider registration applications received within the prescribed deadline.
