On 21 January 2026, the Ministry of Industry and Trade issued Decision No. 150/QD-BCT initiating the first review of the anti-dumping measures currently imposed on certain prestressed steel products originating from Malaysia, Thailand and China. Detailed information on the product scope, review content, and implementation timeline is provided in Decision No. 150/QD-BCT and the accompanying Notice.
The investigating authority has circulated the review questionnaire to relevant foreign producers and exporters to collect information for the investigation process. The deadline for submission of responses is before 17:00 on 19 March 2026 (Hanoi time).
To safeguard their lawful rights and interests, concerned enterprises are required to participate and fully cooperate throughout the investigation. In cases where information is not submitted within the prescribed deadline, or where submitted information is incomplete or inaccurate as requested, the investigating authority may rely on facts available to reach conclusions in accordance with Article 75 of the Law on Foreign Trade Management.
The confidentiality of information provided by interested parties, as well as the right of access to the case file, shall be implemented in accordance with Article 75 of the Law on Foreign Trade Management and Article 11 of Decree No. 86/2025/ND-CP detailing trade remedy measures.
Specific instructions regarding how to respond to each section of the questionnaire, the submission format, and the applicable deadlines are clearly stated in the notice issued by the Trade Remedies Authority. Enterprises are advised to carefully review the guidance before completing and submitting their responses.
