Based on the results of Decision No. 1282/QD-BCT on the results of the first review of the application of anti-dumping measures on a number of aluminum products originating from China issued on April 22, 2022, on June 10, 2022, the Vietnam Ministry of Industry and Trade issued Decision No. 1149/QD-BCT on the second review of the application of anti-dumping measures on a number of some aluminum products from China (case code AR02.AD05).
According to Decision No. 1282/QD-BCT on the results of the first review of the application of anti-dumping measures on a number of aluminum products originating from China, Vietnam will apply anti-dumping measures for certain aluminum products, alloy or non-alloy, in the form of bars, rods and shapes, extruded, whether or not surface-treated, whether or not further worked, imported into Vietnam and classified under HS codes 7604.10.10, 7604.10.90, 7604.21.90, 7604.29.10, 7604.29.90, originating from China on the basis of the first review results (case code AR01.AD05) with the details stated in the Notice issued together with the Decision.
This Decision replaces Decision No. 2942/QD-BCT dated September 28, 2019, of the Minister of Industry and Trade on the application of official anti-dumping measures to a number of aluminum products originating from the People’s Republic of China.
The order and procedures for applying anti-dumping measures shall comply with the law on anti-dumping of goods imported into Vietnam, the law on import and export duty, and other relevant legal provisions.
Second review on the application of anti-dumping measures on some aluminum products
Thereby, based on the results from the first review of aluminum products from China, the Vietnam Ministry of Industry and Trade issued Decision No. 1149/QD-BCT on the second review of the application of the anti-dumping measures on some aluminum products originating from China (case code AR02.AD05).
Decision 1149 was issued in accordance with the law, based on the provisions of Decree No. 10/2018/ND-CP dated January 15, 2018.
Accordingly, the stakeholders in the case have the right to submit an application for review of the application of anti-dumping measures within 60 days before the end of one year from the date of the latest decision on the review of anti-dumping measures.
Regarding the investigation into the application of anti-dumping measures on aluminum products from China, the stakeholders submitted dossiers within the prescribed time limit, and thereby, on June 10, 2022, the Vietnam Ministry of Industry and Trade issued Decision No. 1149/QD-BCT on the second review of the application of anti-dumping measures to a number of aluminum products classified under HS codes 7604.10.10, 7604.10.90, 7604.21.90, 7604.29.10, 7604.29.90 originated in the People’s Republic of China (case code AR02.AD05).
