On December 5, 2023, the Ministry of Industry and Trade (MOIT) issued Decision No. 3133/QĐ-BCT on the second review of anti-dumping measures applied to certain H-beam steel products from China (case code AR02.AD03).
On March 21, 2017, MOIT issued Decision No. 957/QĐ-BCT, imposing provisional anti-dumping duties on some H-beam steel imports from China (including Hong Kong).
On August 21, 2017, MOIT issued Decision No. 3283/QĐ-BCT, officially imposing anti-dumping measures on H-beam steel imports from China.
On August 19, 2022, MOIT issued Decision No. 1640/QĐ-BCT on the results of the final review, extending the anti-dumping measures on H-beam steel for an additional five years.
The H-beam steel products involved in this case, also known as “H-beam,” “W-beam,” or “wide flange steel,” are classified under HS codes: 7216.33.11, 7216.33.19, 7216.33.90, 7228.70.10, and 7228.70.90.
MOIT began the second review of anti-dumping measures on Chinese H-beam steel in December 2023, based on a request submitted by the Jinxi Group from China in August 2022.
On November 25, 2024, MOIT issued Decision No. 3098/QĐ-BCT on the results of the second review of anti-dumping measures for certain H-beam steel products originating from China. The investigation concluded that there were changes in the dumping margins for the Jinxi Group, detailed in the announcement attached to Decision No. 3098/QĐ-BCT.
