On 27 October 2025, the Minister of Industry and Trade issued Decision No. 3176/QD-BCT together with an accompanying Notice on the initiation of the anti-circumvention investigation into trade remedy measures concerning certain hot-rolled steel products originating from China (Case No. AC03.AD20).
On 17 November 2025, the Trade Remedies Authority of Vietnam (TRAV) issued Notice No. 265/TB-PVTM on the issuance of investigation questionnaires for domestic producers and importers within the framework of Case No. AC03.AD20. Pursuant to this Notice, the deadline for submission of the completed questionnaire responses was set at before 5:00 p.m. on 24 December 2025 (Hanoi time).
Based on the consideration of extension requests submitted by domestic producers, the Investigation Authority approved an extension of the deadline for submission of questionnaire responses for domestic producers and importers to before 5:00 p.m. on 23 January 2026 (Hanoi time). After this deadline, the Investigation Authority may apply facts available in accordance with the law on trade remedies for the purposes of assessment and final determination of the case.
With respect to other matters, enterprises are requested to continue to fully and strictly comply with the instructions set out in the investigation questionnaire issued together with Notice No. 265/TB-PVTM dated 17 November 2025 by the Trade Remedies Authority of Vietnam.
