Recently, on May 5, 2022, Decision No. 843/QD-BCT on upholding the application of anti-dumping measures on a number of flat-rolled and painted alloy or non-alloy steel products originating from Korea and China have been issued by the Ministry of Industry and Trade to stabilize prices and prevent dumping of the above products.
The decision was issued because no stakeholder requested a periodic review.
Decision No.843/QD-BCT is issued based on the following Codes, Decrees, Decisions, and Circulars:
- Law on Foreign Trade Management No. 05/2017/QH14;
- Decree No. 10/2018/ND-CP detailing a number of articles of the Law on Foreign Trade Management on trade remedies;
- Circular No. 37/2019/TT-BCT detailing a number of contents on trade remedies;
- Decision No. 3752/QD-BCT;
- Decision 1283/QD-BCT on the results of the first review of the application of anti-dumping measures to a number of flat-rolled and painted alloy or non-alloy steel products originating from the People’s Republic of China and the Republic of Korea.
Preserve the application of anti-dumping measures to certain flat-rolled or painted alloy or non-alloy steel products
Counting from the date the Decision is issued, within 60 days until the end of 01 year, stakeholders can submit a request for review based on the provisions of Article 59 of Decree No. 10/2018/ND-CP dated January 15, 2018, of the Government detailing a number of articles of the Law on Foreign Trade Management on trade remedies.
During the duration of the case, stakeholders need to coordinate and work closely with the Trade Remedies Department – Ministry of Industry and Trade. At the same time, stakeholders also need to actively participate in responding to requests of the Trade Remedies Department to receive the timely and necessary support to reduce the imposed anti-dumping level.
