Organized in Ho Chi Minh City on October 31, 2023, and in Hanoi on November 3, 2023, ASL LAW participated in the seminar “Developing and Implementing Policies to Promote ‘Responsible Business Practices’: EU Experience & Practice in Vietnam/Participation of Businesses & Social Organizations.”
On July 14, 2023, Vietnam Prime Minister issued the National Action Program to perfect policies and laws to promote responsible business practices for the 2023-2027 period. This program aims to achieve dual objectives of economic growth and sustainable development.
In order to rapidly and effectively develop businesses, Vietnam needs to swiftly apply policies in production and management.
Speaking on this issue, Mr. Vu Tuan Anh, representative of ASL LAW, stated: “Decision No. 843 by the Prime Minister on perfecting policies and laws to promote responsible business practices is an action program in two directions.
The first direction involves the government’s efforts to improve legal policies to align businesses more voluntarily with the concept of responsible business practices. It involves refining legal provisions to provide businesses with the basis for implementation.
The second direction focuses on businesses, which will experience reform through encouragement from the state to build policies, encouraging businesses to voluntarily practice responsible business practices.”
