I. Open Positions
1. Associate – Hanoi Office
Number of openings: 01
2. Litigation Lawyer – Hanoi Office & Ho Chi Minh City Office
Number of openings: 02 (01 position for each office)
Preference will be given to candidates with litigation experience in commercial, employment, land, or contractual disputes before courts or arbitration tribunals. Candidates with English-language advocacy or litigation experience will have an advantage. However, applicants demonstrating outstanding legal experience, strong analytical skills, and proven practical capabilities will also be highly considered.
3. Senior Associate – Hanoi Office & Ho Chi Minh City Office
Number of openings: 02 (01 position for each office)
Candidates should possess at least seven (07) years of experience in corporate law, commercial law, M&A, contracts, employment law in Vietnam, dispute resolution, or other related legal practice areas.
II. Scope of Work
Depending on the position, experience, and professional expertise, successful candidates will be involved in one or more of the following:
- Conduct legal research, analysis, and provide legal advice on corporate, oversea investment, commercial, employment, M&A, contract, and dispute resolution matters;
- Draft legal advice, legal opinions, legal reports, transaction documents, and other legal documentation;
- Draft, review, and negotiate commercial contracts, transaction agreements, employment contracts, and related legal documents;
- Participate in legal due diligence, transaction structuring, and implementation of M&A transactions;
- Represent or assist clients in dispute resolution before courts, arbitration tribunals, and through negotiation and mediation;
- Communicate and coordinate with clients, business partners, government authorities, and other relevant stakeholders;
- For the Senior Associate position: assign work, supervise progress, review work quality, and mentor junior legal professionals.
III. Candidate Requirements
Associate
- Bachelor’s Degree in Law;
- Completion of the Lawyer Training Course is preferred;
- At least 4–5 years of legal practice experience;
- Strong legal research, analytical, and drafting skills;
- Proactive, responsible, detail-oriented, and able to maintain strict confidentiality;
- Good command of English; Chinese language skills are an advantage;
- Admission to the Bar or completion of the lawyer apprenticeship is preferred.
Litigation Lawyer
- Experience representing or assisting clients in litigation before courts or arbitration tribunals;
- Preference for experience in commercial, employment, land, and contractual disputes;
- Strong case analysis, legal argument development, evidence preparation, and client communication skills;
- Ability to work under pressure, manage case timelines, and respond effectively to unexpected developments;
- A valid practicing lawyer license is an advantage;
- English proficiency is considered a significant advantage.
Senior Associate
- At least seven (07) years of legal practice experience;
- Ability to independently manage complex legal matters;
- Strong work management, quality control, and team supervision skills;
- Experience advising corporate clients, FDI companies, or international clients;
- Licensed practicing lawyer;
- Excellent command of English; Chinese or Korean language proficiency is an advantage.
