Lawyer Pham Duy Khuong is invited to the Appraisal Council of the Judicial Academy’s Lawyer Training Program for International Integration

On August 4, 2022, the Vietnam Ministry of Justice, the Academy of Justice issued Decision No. 1009/QD-HVTP on the establishment of the Appraisal Council of the Subject Program of the detailed program of training lawyers for international integration according to the framework program on training lawyers for international integration promulgated under Decision 1711/QD-BTP dated 12/11/2021 of the Minister of Justice (Phase 2).

The Appraisal Council is responsible for evaluating, concluding, and appraising the subject program in accordance with current regulations.

The Appraisal Council dissolves itself after completing its tasks.

The Appraisal Council under the detailed program on training lawyers for international integration according to the Lawyer Training Framework Program for international integration has the following members:

• Dr. Nguyen Xuan Thu – Director of the Judicial Academy – Chairman of the Council
• Atty. Pham Duy Khuong – Managing Director, ASL LAW Law Firm – Reviewer 1
• Dr. Ha Cong Anh Bao – Vice Dean of Faculty of Law, Foreign Trade University – Reviewer 2
• Assoc. Prof. Nguyen Minh Hang – Deputy Director of the Academy of Justice – Member
• Dr. Nguyen Thanh Phu – Head of Scientific and Administrative Management Department, Journal of Law Profession, Judicial Academy – Secretary

Decision No. 1009/QD-HVTP takes effect from the date of signing.

Courses in the Program include:

• Skills of lawyers in the field of e-commerce
• Skill in providing legal advice and participating in M&A transaction dispute resolution
• Skills in drafting commercial and investment contracts with foreign elements
• Skills in legal advice and participation in dispute resolution on international payments and international credit
• Skill in legal advice and participation in dispute resolution on intellectual property
