The Trade Remedies Department has issued an investigation questionnaire for foreign producers/exporters related to the final review of anti-dumping measures imposed on certain cold-rolled steel products (cold-rolled) in coil or sheet form originating from China (Case code: ER01.AD08).
On December 25, 2024, the Ministry of Industry and Trade signed Decision No. 3565/QD-BCT regarding the final review of anti-dumping measures applied to the aforementioned products. Details about the scope, content, and timeline of the investigation are specified in Decision 3565/QD-BCT and the attached notice.
The Trade Remedies Department (investigating authority) has sent the official investigation questionnaire to the foreign producers/exporters involved, which the investigating authority is aware of. The deadline for submitting responses is before February 14, 2025 (Hanoi time).
To protect their interests, foreign producers/exporters should fully participate and cooperate throughout the investigation process. The content of their responses will serve as the basis for the investigating authority to determine the scope of the investigation, especially in cases where a limited sampling may be needed. If the response is not submitted on time, is inaccurate, or is incomplete, the investigating authority will rely on available information to draw conclusions.
The information and data provided in response to the questionnaire, as well as the right of involved parties to access such information, will be kept confidential in accordance with Article 11 of Decree No. 10/2018/ND-CP. Detailed instructions on how to respond, submission format, and deadline for submitting the response are provided in the investigation questionnaire for businesses.
To protect their legitimate interests, related manufacturers and exporters should familiarize themselves with the procedure and actively contact Vietnamese law firms specializing in anti-dumping and trade remedy for timely assistance.
Notice No. 03/TB-PVTM on the issuance of the investigation questionnaire for foreign producers/exporters in the case ER01.AD08 can be found here.
