The Trade Remedies Authority of Vietnam (Ministry of Industry and Trade) has announced an extension of the deadline for submitting questionnaire responses in the anti-dumping investigation concerning certain clear float glass products originating from the Republic of Indonesia and Malaysia (Case Code: AD22).
Previously, on July 18, 2025, the Minister of Industry and Trade issued Decision No. 2093/QD-BCT and the Notice of Initiation of Investigation for case AD22. Subsequently, on August 4, 2025, the Trade Remedies Authority issued Notice No. 110/TB-PVTM, distributing investigation questionnaires to domestic producers and importers, with an initial deadline for responses set at 5:00 p.m. on September 10, 2025.
Following requests from enterprises, the investigating authority has decided to extend the deadline for submission until 5:00 p.m. on October 10, 2025 (Hanoi time). After this deadline, if enterprises fail to submit their responses, the investigating authority reserves the right to use available facts to draw conclusions in accordance with trade remedy laws.
The one-month extension is considered an important step to provide domestic producers and importers with additional time to prepare complete and accurate information and data, thereby ensuring objectivity and transparency in the investigation process. Enterprises are still required to comply with the detailed instructions provided in the questionnaire issued under Notice No. 110/TB-PVTM dated August 4, 2025.
This development also reflects the flexibility of the investigation process, encouraging cooperation from enterprises to ensure that the case is handled fairly and in line with both domestic laws and international practices.
To protect their legitimate interests, manufacturers and exporters should familiarize themselves with the procedure and actively contact Vietnam Antidumping Law Firm specializing in anti-dumping and trade remedy for timely assistance.
