On January 22, 2023, the Indonesian Anti-Dumping Committee (KADI) issued a notice regarding the organization of the public sunset review hearing on anti-dumping duties on BOPP film products from Thailand and Vietnam. The notice was sent to the Vietnamese embassy in Indonesia and forwarded to relevant parties.
On September 2, 2015, KADI initiated an investigation into the application of anti-dumping measures on BOPP film products originating from Vietnam and Thailand. The final determination was issued on August 8, 2016, with anti-dumping duties applied to BOPP film from Thailand ranging from 0% to 28.4% and from Vietnam at 3.9%.
On December 12, 2017, KADI initiated the first interim review regarding the matter and issued the final determination on December 10, 2018, to continue imposing anti-dumping duties on BOPP film from Thailand and Vietnam with an unchanged rate for an additional 5 years (expected to expire on April 18, 2024).
Upon receiving a request to organize a hearing to gather important opinions from relevant parties, KADI issued an official notice regarding the organization of the second interim review hearing on anti-dumping duties on BOPP film products from Thailand and Vietnam.
Details of the hearing are as follows:
Time: 14:00 – 16:00, February 7, 2024 (Indonesia time)
Venue: Anggrek Meeting Room, Building 1 Floor 12, MI Ridwan Rais street, No.5, Central Jakarta, Ministry of Trade of the Republic of Indonesia
To register for participation, interested parties need to submit a registration form including the full name of the speaker and the intended opinions to be expressed at the hearing. This information must be submitted to KADI by February 2, 2024, via email at [email protected]. Only registered parties have the right to participate in the hearing.
