Following the principle of closely combining theory and practice set forth by the University of Law in Ho Chi Minh City, ASL LAW has participated in the program to strengthen the bond between Vietnam law firm and the university by signing a memorandum of understanding for collaboration with the university.
Over the past period, the internship program that involves students from the University of Law in Ho Chi Minh City interning in legal consulting entities like ASL LAW has achieved considerable success. Students have had the opportunity to experience the practical working environment right from their time in the university. Outstanding students have been awarded the chance to work at the respective internship organizations.
After evaluating the quality and effectiveness of the successful student interns based on feedback from both the students and the internship organizations, the University of Law in Ho Chi Minh City highly values the developmental potential of this model. Consequently, on December 22, 2023, the University of Law in Ho Chi Minh City organized a signing ceremony for a memorandum of understanding for collaboration with exemplary legal consulting entities in Vietnam.
In addition to ASL LAW, other entities that participated in collaborating with the University of Law in Ho Chi Minh City during this period include notable organizations such as the Department of Justice of Ho Chi Minh City, the Supreme People’s Procuracy in Ho Chi Minh City, Saigon Industrial Corporation, People’s Court of District 1, People’s Court of District 8, Cultural Exchange Institute with France (IDECAF), Vietnam International Arbitration Center (VTA), Vietcombank Branch in Thu Thiem, Kien Long Commercial Joint Stock Bank, Notary Office No. 1, Ho Chi Minh City Real Estate Registration Office, and more.
In the coming time, the University of Law in Ho Chi Minh City plans to continue comprehensive collaboration with new partners such as the Ho Chi Minh City Bar Association, the Bar Association of Dong Nai Province, and various governmental agencies, businesses, and banks.
Representatives from the participating organizations and businesses expressed their deep honor and appreciation for being chosen by the university, a reputable institution for legal education, amid the numerous options available. Many other entities, including law firm in Vietnam and legal companies, have also expressed their desire to collaborate with the university.
