ASL LAW LLC (ASL LAW) officially announces that Dr. Nguyen Thi Thu Hien has joined the firm as a Partner, marking an important milestone in the firm’s strategy to strengthen its professional capacity and expand its legal services. The addition of Dr. Nguyen Thi Thu Hien is expected to further reinforce ASL LAW’s team of experts, particularly in the areas of corporate legal advisory, commercial transactions, and commercial dispute resolution.
With nearly 25 years of experience in the fields of law, corporate governance, research, and teaching, Dr. Nguyen Thi Thu Hien is widely recognized as an expert with a strong academic background and extensive practical experience in legal consultancy. Throughout her career, she has held a number of key positions at educational institutions, enterprises, and international organizations.
Prior to joining ASL LAW, Dr. Nguyen Thi Thu Hien served as Deputy Head of the Faculty of International Commercial Law at Hanoi Law University, one of the leading law schools in Vietnam. In addition to her academic teaching and research activities, she has also gained substantial experience in the corporate sector, having previously held leadership positions in the Legal Department and the External Relations Department of FLC Group Joint Stock Company.
In addition, she has participated as an independent expert for the World Bank in various research and advisory programs relating to legal policy and the business environment.
Currently, Dr. Nguyen Thi Thu Hien serves as an arbitrator at the Vietnam Traders Arbitration Centre. She is also a member of scientific councils and acts as an advisor and lecturer for various training institutions, research organizations, and enterprise support and development programs. Her diverse professional experience in both academic and practical fields has enabled her to develop extensive expertise in commercial law, oversea investment law, corporate governance, and dispute resolution.
At ASL LAW, Dr. Nguyen Thi Thu Hien will contribute to the development and leadership of several key practice areas of the firm, including corporate advisory and M&A transactions; dispute resolution and commercial arbitration; legal advisory for commercial activities and cross-border transactions; advisory and representation for clients in anti-dumping investigations and other trade remedy matters; legal compliance and handling of violations in the field of competition and economic concentration control; as well as advisory on domestic investment and offshore investment (FDI).
The appointment of Dr. Nguyen Thi Thu Hien is expected to bring significant added value to ASL LAW’s clients and partners through the delivery of comprehensive, effective, and internationally aligned legal solutions.
