The Trade Remedies Authority of Vietnam (TRAV) under the Ministry of Industry and Trade (MOIT) has issued a notice announcing the acceptance of applications requesting a review of the anti-dumping measures currently imposed on certain H-beam steel products originating from China. The notice has been issued in accordance with Vietnam’s trade remedy regulations to facilitate the exercise of the right of interested parties to request a review while the measures remain in force.
Previously, on August 19, 2022, the Ministry of Industry and Trade issued Decision No. 1640/QD-BCT on the results of the sunset review concerning the anti-dumping measures imposed on certain H-beam steel products imported from China. This decision serves as the legal basis for the continued application of the anti-dumping measures and the implementation of subsequent review procedures upon the request of interested parties.
Pursuant to Article 51 of Decree No. 86/2025/ND-CP, the Trade Remedies Authority of Vietnam, acting as the investigating authority, has officially begun accepting applications for a review of the above-mentioned anti-dumping measures. Such reviews are conducted at the request of interested parties to reassess the necessity, scope, or content of the measures currently in force based on newly submitted information and evidence.
The investigating authority stated that interested parties falling within the categories specified in Article 56 of Decree No. 86/2025/ND-CP are entitled to submit review applications. Applications must fully satisfy the requirements regarding content, supporting documents, and evidence prescribed under Article 57 of the Decree in order to be considered in accordance with the applicable legal procedures.
The deadline for the investigating authority to receive review applications is August 6, 2026. After this date, the receipt and processing of applications will be carried out in accordance with the prevailing provisions of Vietnam’s trade remedy laws.
Review applications should be submitted to:
Trade Remedies Authority of Vietnam (TRAV)
Ministry of Industry and Trade
54 Hai Ba Trung Street, Cua Nam Ward, Hanoi, Vietnam.
Enterprises, industry associations, and other interested parties wishing to participate in the review may refer to the detailed contents of the Notice on the Acceptance of Applications for Review issued by the Trade Remedies Authority of Vietnam.
