We are going to franchise our education business model to a Vietnamese party. Do we need to register our franchise agreement in Vietnam? If yes, could you advise what are required documents for recording franchise agreement in Vietnam?

Thanks for your question related to franchise agreement recording in Vietnam. Under Vietnam Law on Franchise, it is compulsory to register your franchise agreement in Vietnam at the competent Vietnam authority.
The franchise agreement registration at Vietnam authority is about 20-35 days from receiving your full required documents. The required documents for recording franchise agreement in Vietnam are described in the following table:

Prepare Franchising registration documents |
1. The Power of attorney of franchisor. | All documents are prepared by franchisor as requested (ASL LAW would assist in completing the dossier) and send to Vietnam.
