On January 18, 2024, the Ministry of Finance issued Decision No. 124/QĐ-BTC on the Legal Support Plan for Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (SMEs) in 2024. The main forms and focus areas of the Ministry of Finance’s Legal Support Plan for SMEs in 2024 include:
- Organizing communication, propaganda, and dissemination of legal financial documents for SMEs under various forms, specifically:
- Organizing conferences to disseminate and train legal knowledge.
- Organizing seminars, dialogues, and training sessions on financial knowledge for SMEs.
- Developing, compiling, and distributing publications, documents, flyers, brochures, etc.
- In 2024, implementing legal support, soliciting opinions to improve draft documents for the following groups of legal financial documents:
- Decree No. 84/2023/NĐ-CP on Special Preferential Import Tariff for Vietnam to implement the ASEAN-Korea Free Trade Agreement for the period 2022-2027.
- Amending and supplementing Decree No. 26/2023/NĐ-CP on Export Tariffs, Preferential Import Tariffs, List of Goods and Tax Rates, Mixed Taxes, and Out-of-Quota Import Duties.
- Amending Decree No. 123/2020/NĐ-CP on invoices and documents.
- Amending and supplementing Decree No. 132/2020/NĐ-CP on tax management for enterprises with related-party transactions.
- Special Preferential Import Tax Decree for Vietnam to implement the bilateral trade promotion agreement between Vietnam and Cambodia for the period 2023-2023.
- Special Preferential Import Tax Decree to implement the Vietnam-Israel Free Trade Agreement.
- Special Preferential Import Tax Decree to implement the Vietnam-United Arab Emirates Free Trade Agreement.
- Draft Circular guiding on taxes.
- Receiving suggestions, and feedback, and resolving issues raised by enterprises.
- Timely updating comprehensive information on newly issued financial legal documents.
