On August 20, 2024, the Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) announced the suspension of submissions during the normal value review process related to the anti-dumping and countervailing duty investigation on upholstered seating exported from Vietnam.
The CBSA has also updated the normal value review schedule as follows:
- April 2, 2024: CBSA initiated the review process.
- April 23, 2024, by 5:00 PM: Deadline for importers to submit information as requested by CBSA.
- May 9, 2024, by 5:00 PM: Deadline for exporters and the Government to submit information as requested by CBSA.
- August 20, 2024, by noon: CBSA suspends submissions.
- August 27, 2024, by noon: Deadline for interested parties to submit briefs.
- September 3, 2024, by noon: Deadline for interested parties to submit rebuttal documents related to the briefs in the case.
- September 24, 2024: CBSA will issue a conclusion on the case.
