The Trade Remedies Authority of Vietnam under the Ministry of Industry and Trade has announced that it is accepting requests for a review of the anti-dumping measure imposed on certain aluminium products originating in China. The matter relates to Case No. AD05.
Previously, on 23 September 2024, the Ministry of Industry and Trade issued Decision No. 2531/QD-BCT on the results of the expiry review concerning the anti-dumping measure imposed on the aluminium products covered by the case.
Acceptance of Review Requests
Pursuant to Article 51 of Decree No. 86/2025/ND-CP, the Trade Remedies Authority of Vietnam, acting as the investigating authority, is officially accepting requests for a review of the anti-dumping duties imposed on certain aluminium products originating in China.
This provides interested parties with an opportunity to request that the investigating authority reconsider the application of the anti-dumping measure based on relevant changes or information concerning the case.
Parties Eligible to Submit Requests
Interested parties specified in Article 56 of Decree No. 86/2025/ND-CP are entitled to submit requests for a review.
A request must include all information, documents and evidence required under Clause 1, Article 57 of Decree No. 86/2025/ND-CP. Applicants should ensure that all information provided is accurate and complete and supported by appropriate documentary evidence.
Deadline for Submission
The deadline for the investigating authority to receive review requests is 3 September 2026.
Companies and other interested parties should proactively review their production, import and export activities, selling prices and other relevant data to prepare their submissions in a timely manner. Requests submitted after this deadline may not be considered.
Recommendations for Interested Parties
Producers, importers and other parties connected with the aluminium products subject to the anti-dumping measure should:
- Review Decision No. 2531/QD-BCT and the relevant provisions of Decree No. 86/2025/ND-CP;
- Determine their status as an interested party and the grounds for requesting a review;
- Prepare all required information, documents and evidence;
- Submit their requests in the prescribed form by 3 September 2026; and
- Monitor announcements from the investigating authority throughout the examination of the requests and any subsequent review.
