On 21 November 2025, the Ministry of Industry and Trade issued Decision No. 3411/QD-BCT, officially initiating the third review of the anti-dumping measure currently applied to certain H-beam steel products originating from China. The scope of review, matters to be examined, and procedural timelines are detailed in Decision No. 3411/QD-BCT and its accompanying Notice.
On the same day, the Trade Remedies Authority of Vietnam, acting as the investigating authority, distributed the review questionnaire to relevant foreign producers and exporters subject to the case. These parties are required to complete and submit their responses no later than 15 January 2026 (Hanoi time).
The investigating authority encourages all relevant foreign enterprises to participate actively and provide complete and accurate information throughout the review. In cases where responses are submitted late, not submitted, or contain insufficient or inaccurate information, the authority may resort to the use of available facts to reach its conclusions in accordance with Article 75 of the Law on Foreign Trade Management.
All information and data submitted by enterprises will be received and processed in compliance with confidentiality provisions under the Law on Foreign Trade Management and Decree No. 86/2025/ND-CP on trade remedy measures. Enterprises are advised to carefully review the instructions in the Questionnaire to ensure proper understanding of the required structure, format, and method of submission.
