Notice of Deadline Extension for Questionnaire Responses by Domestic Producers and Importers in the Sunset Review of Anti-Dumping and Countervailing Measures on Certain Sugar Products Originating from the Kingdom of Thailand (Case Code: ER01.AD13-AS01)
On June 13, 2025, the Minister of Industry and Trade issued Decision No. 1686/QD-BCT and an accompanying Notice on the initiation of a sunset review of the anti-dumping and countervailing measures applied to certain sugar products originating from the Kingdom of Thailand (Case Code: ER01.AD13-AS01).
Following this, on June 30, 2025, the Trade Remedies Authority of Vietnam (Investigating Authority) issued Official Letter No. 656/PVTM-P2, along with the official investigation questionnaire addressed to relevant domestic producers and importers. Under the initial guidance, the deadline for submission of questionnaire responses was set before 17:00 on August 6, 2025 (Hanoi time).
Based on requests for an extension submitted by several domestic producers, the Investigating Authority has approved an extension of the deadline for both domestic producers and importers. The new deadline for submission is before September 6, 2025 (Hanoi time).
After this deadline, if no response is received, the Investigating Authority will proceed to evaluate and utilize available information in accordance with the provisions of the trade remedies regulations.
For all other matters, enterprises are requested to continue following the instructions provided in the investigation questionnaire issued together with Official Letter No. 656/PVTM-P2 dated June 30, 2025.
