Vietnam has issued a notice extending the deadline for submitting questionnaire responses in the end-of-term review of the anti-dumping investigation on plastic products made from propylene polymers from Malaysia, Thailand, and China.
On August 2, 2024, the Trade Remedies Authority issued Notice No. 101/TB-PVTM regarding the issuance of the official investigation questionnaire for foreign producers/exporters involved in Case ER01.AD07. The deadline for responding to the questionnaire was set at 5:00 PM on September 10, 2024 (Hanoi time).
During the preparation of responses to the questionnaire, foreign producers/exporters involved in the case submitted requests to the Trade Remedies Authority for an extension, citing the large amount of data required and the need for additional time to collect and prepare complete and accurate information.
To facilitate the participation of companies in answering the questionnaire, ensure objectivity and fairness among the parties involved, and provide comprehensive and accurate information for case evaluation, the Investigating Authority, based on Clause 2, Article 57 of Decree No. 10/2018/ND-CP, issued Notice No. 122/TB-PVTM on September 9, 2024, extending the deadline for foreign producers/exporters to respond to the questionnaire by an additional 15 days, until 5:00 PM on September 25, 2024 (Hanoi time).
After this deadline, the Investigating Authority may use available data in accordance with the laws on trade remedies.
