The Trade Remedies Authority of Vietnam (TRAV), under the Ministry of Industry and Trade, is currently accepting exemption requests from the application of anti-dumping measures on certain coated steel products subject to Decision No. 914/QD-BCT dated April 1, 2025, on the imposition of provisional anti-dumping duties on coated steel products originating from China and South Korea.
To provide a basis for assessing the exemption requests (including limits on volume, quantity, and intended use), relevant industry associations and domestic manufacturers are requested to provide and confirm the following information:
- Production and supply capacity for the products subject to exemption requests:
- If the enterprise is capable of producing and supplying the products in question, please provide detailed information on design capacity, sales contracts, and invoices corresponding to each relevant product group.
- Comments and positions of the enterprise regarding the exemption request for each specific product group.
Detailed specifications of the products for which exemptions are requested are provided in the attached Appendix.
Industry associations and enterprises are requested to submit written feedback to TRAV by June 2, 2025. After this deadline, in the absence of a response, it will be assumed that the association/enterprise has no objection to the exemption requests for the mentioned product groups.
