The Vietnam Trade Remedies Authority has recently issued a questionnaire for foreign producers/exporters as part of the new exporter review in the anti-circumvention investigation concerning trade remedy measures applied to sugar products (Case Code: NR03.AC02.AD13-AS01).
On December 24, 2024, the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Vietnam issued Decision No. 3486/QĐ-BCT to conduct a review of new exporters in relation to the anti-circumvention measures applied to certain sugar products. Detailed information regarding the scope, deadlines, and investigation process can be found in Decision No. 3486/QĐ-BCT and the accompanying Notice.
The Trade Remedies Authority (Investigation Agency) has sent official questionnaires to the relevant foreign producers/exporters to collect necessary information. Enterprises are required to complete and submit their responses by February 14, 2025 (Hanoi time).
To safeguard their rights and interests, foreign producers/exporters are advised to fully cooperate during the investigation process. If responses are not submitted on time or if the information provided is incomplete or inaccurate, the Authority will utilize available information to draw its conclusions. All information and data submitted during the investigation will be kept confidential in accordance with Article 11 of Decree No. 10/2018/NĐ-CP.
Guidelines on answering the questionnaire, submission formats, and deadlines are clearly stated in the Questionnaire. Relevant enterprises are urged to carefully review the instructions and ensure timely submission.
