The Trade Remedies Authority has sent the official questionnaire to the foreign producers/exporters that the investigation agency is aware of, requiring them to respond to the questionnaire. The deadline for responding to the questionnaire is 5:00 PM on September 10, 2024 (Hanoi time).
To ensure their rights and interests, related foreign producers/exporters should proactively register to participate in the review if they do not receive information indicating that they are mandatory respondents.
The content of the response will serve as a basis for the investigation agency to consider selecting samples and limiting the scope of the investigation if necessary. In case the investigation agency does not receive a timely response from foreign producers/exporters or if the provided information is inaccurate or incomplete as required, the investigation agency will use available information to make conclusions, which are often unfavorable to the companies.
Therefore, companies need to carefully read the instructions before responding and submit their answers on time. If necessary, they should contact a reputable law firm specializing in antidumping and trade remedies.
