On September 11, 2024, the Trade Remedies Authority under the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Vietnam issued Notice No. 128/TB-PVTM regarding the submission of applications for exemptions from the application of trade remedy measures for September 2024.
Based on Clause 5, Article 1 of Circular No. 42/2023/TT-BCT dated December 28, 2023, the Trade Remedies Authority announced the acceptance of exemption applications from enterprises that meet the conditions for exemption from trade remedy measures in specific cases outlined in the appendix attached to the notice.
The Trade Remedies Authority requests that enterprises meeting the exemption conditions submit applications for exemptions, including the documents specified in Article 14 and Appendix III of Circular No. 37/2019/TT-BCT.
If an enterprise has already been granted an exemption for 2024 and is nearing the utilization of its allocated exemption volume, it may submit a supplementary exemption application as per Clause 4, Article 16 of Circular No. 37/2019/TT-BCT at any time during 2024.
In accordance with Article 15 and Clause 3, Article 16 of Circular No. 37/2019/TT-BCT, the Trade Remedies Authority requests that enterprises submit exemption applications by 5:00 PM on October 15, 2024.
