On March 14, 2025, the Trade Remedies Authority of Vietnam under the Ministry of Industry and Trade announced the acceptance of applications for exemptions from trade remedy measures. These exemptions apply to enterprises that meet the conditions specified in the annex attached to the announcement.
Vietnamese enterprises meeting the exemption criteria must submit an application, including the required documents outlined in Article 14 and Annex III of Circular No. 37/2019/TT-BCT.
If an enterprise has already been granted an exemption for 2025 and is nearing the consumption of the approved exempted volume, it may submit an additional exemption application at any time during the year.
Vietnamese enterprises must submit their exemption applications between March 15 and April 14, 2025, either via the online public service portal at https://dichvucong.moit.gov.vn or directly to the Trade Remedies Authority of Vietnam.
To protect their legitimate interests, manufacturers and exporters should familiarize themselves with the procedure and actively contact Vietnamese law firms specializing in anti-dumping and trade remedy for timely assistance.
