On September 27, 2024, the Directorate General of Imports (DGI) under the Ministry of Trade of Turkey issued its final determination in the anti-circumvention investigation concerning anti-dumping duties on solar panels originating from or imported from Croatia, Jordan, Thailand, Malaysia, and Vietnam. The investigation was based on allegations of circumvention of the existing anti-dumping duties imposed on Chinese products.
On November 29, 2023, the DGI initiated an anti-circumvention investigation concerning anti-dumping duties on solar panels originating from or imported from Croatia, Jordan, Thailand, Malaysia, and Vietnam, with accusations of circumventing anti-dumping duties already imposed on China.
In July 2024, the Turkish Ministry of Trade (DGI) announced the organization of a hearing related to the anti-circumvention investigation on solar panels imported from Croatia, Jordan, Thailand, Malaysia, and Vietnam.
The product under investigation is photovoltaic cells assembled into modules or arranged in panels, commonly referred to as solar panels, classified under HS code 8541.43.00.00.00.
The anti-dumping duty rates are as follows:

The anti-dumping duties took effect on September 27, 2024.
