Hello. I would like to inquire regarding my TRC and exiting Vietnam. I currently have TRC which will be expiring on June. My contract with my company ended and I decided not to renew. Now the company I worked for asked me to surrender my TRC. I just wanna know if it’s mandatory to surrender my TRC. I understand that they can terminate my working permit but my TRC is very important when I exit the country as most visas on my passport are all expired. If I surrender my TRC to my ex employer, I’m basically an illegal and might cause me trouble especially without my TRC. Even if I get an exit visa which is valid for 10 days, the other records I have are all expired. I just wanna know if I need to surrender my TRC since it will be expiring on June
